MY OLDEST

Today when i dropped my oldest DaCota off at school i had a overwhelming sense of pride/emontion.  As he stepped out of my vechile in his dark washed fitted blue jean and valpo long sleeve green shirt which is also pretty fitted a belt around his waist and his back pack slung over his shoulder i thought to myself he's such a handsome guy. Yeah i know i am his mom and should think this way. But really he looked so put together. When he gets out as always have a good day love you.Yes i still tell him i love him and usually get a mumbled I love you back. As i drove away i couldnt believe i had a freshman. A freshman where has the time gone? But i started to think of our lives together in the past 14-1/2 years and wow have we had the journey. I won't get into all that i could be typing for days and i have house work to get done and a party to finish getting ready for. But there are so many different paths he could have taken so many different rodes that could have led to some many different things in life and yeah there may have been some bumps but he always got back on track to the right rode. I feel very blessed to have him as my son. I am so very proud of  him everyday. He is a great athlete he keeps good grades and has great group of friends. I couldnt have asked for more. He has really grown up on me. I am proud to be his mom and him my son. Sometimes i feel sad that he isnt a little guy anymore and we can't just sit down in front of the tv and watch a cartoon or read a book or go to the park. There are times i feel like i hardly get to see him between school and sports and friends. But that's part of growing up. In my heart he will always be a little boy! I hope he knows everyday how very proud i am of him and how special i really think he is. I wouldn't change a thing! Well.... maybe get him to take out the garbage more! lol Just kidding!  I love you DaCota and you will always hold a very special place in my heart! I am proud of you everyday! Proud that you make the right choices in life and choose to be yourself! Never change for anyone!

HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY ELLA REESE!

So this morning I sit here with my coffee part sad part happy! 4 years ago today i gave birth to my little girl Ella Reese Baros! She was my fourth attempt at having a baby and finally i was gonna get her. She weighed in at a whooping 6 pounds today she is weighing in at 50 pounds and 45 inches tall. Yes she is big! In the 98% for her age. I never wanted a little girl i didn't like the color pink ...and was so use to baseballs, footballs & soccer balls that i had no desire to have pink things and doll stuff around. For my baby shower my friend bought a pink blanket for her thinking she was funny because she new i disliked pink with a passion. Well of course that became her danky her favorite blanket that goes everywhere. UGH!! LOL It doesn't look so pink these days more of a gray color but we all know it was pink! Ella has changed me a person and my whole world. She grabbed my heart and stold it. Just took it and ran! She made me soft and made me like the color pink lol. How could i not like pink when the majority of her wardobe is pink. I can't imagine for one moment my life without her, on the days she drives me completely insane and i have to lock myself in the bathroom to the days when i just can't hold her and squeeze her enough. She has helped make me the person i am today!

So today i wish my little girl the biggest HAPPY 4TH BIRTHDAY EVER! I LOVE YOU AS MUCH AS THERE IS THE SKY ELLA! he he he

Time flies hold on tight and take tons of pictures! Memories will last forever!

Love Mama

I think random acts of kindness is one of the most awesome things you can do for someone else. I believe in them and try to practice them. There is a florist by my house that if you recycle your vases they give you a free bouquet of flowers. So i have done that and then gave the flower to a neighbor across the street from my moms house. I ALWAYS give up my 25 cent cart from aldi to someone. I have paid someones toll behind me in line. I just try to practice the act of kindness. Well yesterday on tv i seen a man who gave hmself a 366 day challenge of random acts of kindness. I was so excited i insintly looked him up on line. I think it is so wonderful of him he has done some awesome things if you get a chance look at all he has done so far. After seeing that i wanted to do more then just my once and awhile. So i am gonna try to give MORE random acts of kindness. I started today! Today me and the babies were at the grocery store and we bought a plant not sure what kind it was something fancy with cute little white, pink and red flowers on it. We got a card and signed it just becasue we love you! We walked over to the Deli were my sister works and handed it to her. It made her day and that was the point. I wish i would of took a picture of her with the kids in there pjs and bed heads but i wasn't thinking that fast it was early this morning when we where there buying cupcakes liners. I will continue to share my random acts of kindness and i hope you also decide to be random and share your acts with me.

Have a wonderful day!

Sunday- Baking with my Ella!

On Sunday me and Ella finally got to bake our Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies! It was fun i took pictures but i can't download my camera right now my computer is messed up. We had a blast and the kitchen was a complete mess. When i had my back turned she would pick the chips off the cookies. I said Ella stop picking the chips off she's all i wasn't it was laying on the tray. Ya right! She is sneaky! The cookies are super rich and to die for. You have got to make these.
Here is the link for the cookies. http://picky-palate.com/2011/01/06/oreo-stuffed-chocolate-chip-cookies/comment-page-6/#comment-91748
Make sure you have a big glass of milk ready! Let me know if you make them and what you thought. Spending time with Ella was the best part it didn't matter what we were good delicious cookies was just a bonus!

Saturday's Party

On Saturday my sister threw a birthday party for my brother in law. She asked me to make something so i made pasta salad no big deal the usual pasta, tomatoes, orange peppers, green peppers, cucumber & Italian dressing. Yummy but not that big of a deal. Actually DaCota made it for me cause we were running late as usual. I also made a dessert which is definitely worth sharing. Golden Oreo peanut butter bars. This is where you can find the recipe http://tastykitchen.com/recipes/desserts/golden-oreo-peanut-butter-bars/ . Definitely a must try. Tasted like p-nut butter fudge OMG so YUMMY! What did  yo make this weekend? Anything new or exciting?
I think they were well liked they were gone very fast!
